The Candle and the Cup: An Afternoon Tea with Anglican Women Writers

Join us for an afternoon tea exploring the fictional worlds of Anglican women novelists and the religious dimensions of their work. What about their writing is ‘Anglican,’ and what mysteries of faith do their novels explore? Over tea and conversation, we’ll consider passages from these novels and how Anglican faith, spirituality, and material reality – the candle and the cup – shape these stories and illuminate Christian existence.
